When first thinking of homebrewing, you start to imagine cooking pots and pan's where you slowly maish and cook your wort. Expect multiple cooking pots on your stove, and a messy kitchen or workplace. Well the next step in homebrewing are small kettle's and yes fully automated machines who do all the work in one machine. Sound fake? Well we have seen some machines come to life through kickstarter. Some failed to reach the goal, or it reached the goal but somehow never made it to the customers.
Minibrew, from Utrecht Holland actually got made, but was somehow expensive to say the least. Still it got made and delivers decent beer on its own. Now the kickstarter campaign of the Beermkr from 2017 finally is being delivered, though in small batches. Sure they had their setback in development for parts in China, and at that moment it should be shipped the Corona outbreak stopped that whole process and slowed it down with almost 6 months.
We also bought one, just to mess around with test batches cause we also disliked the whole pots and pan's situation. Offcourse we bought more professional kettles so wou could make batches of around 10 gallons, and this one only makes 1 gallon.
Still this machine for it's size seems to be a very cool and handy machine for just that. And yes the price is also very good as it goes for around 500 euro's. For that you get the machine, and the beertap from where you can pour your beer into your glas carbonated.
