After brewing all this time, we have come to the conclusion that splitting batches could be handy. Now we started to use our base stout for Oak Aged versions, we would love to do more then one at a time, seeing the aging and the bottleresting takes some time. So we checked reviews of some good fermenters, and prefereably conal fermenters wich can seperate the hop and yeast sediment from the actual beer.
We found the Fastfermeter to be a very good choice, and affordeable. It can hold 3 gallons per fermenter, thus expanding our capacity with 6 gallons per brew. We van now ferment 3 at once, with 2 being 3 gallon batches of our new Oak Aged series.
