Iron Maiden and Robinsons Brewery have announced two new beers in the award-winning Trooper range.
Fear of the Dark, a 4,5% ABV English stout, and Trooper IPA, a 4,3% ABV India Pale Ale.
Both beers will be available to pre-order at this time through local vendors. The beers were also available to pre-order through the Robinsons brewery webshop, but due to the corona virus outbreak the site has shut down its webshop based operation untill further notice.
Seeing the line-up so far in Trooper brews, it is a welcome addition to the existing brews. Still true beer fanatiscs are waiting for beers with a substantial higher ABV. The highest so far was the Red 'N' Black porter wich had a 6,8% ABV.
If the boys from Maiden are listening or perhaps reading this post, or the brewers from Robinsons for that matter and have no ideas how to name the nex beer, yes and i mean the heavy hitter i would suggest "Trooper - Mother Russia". In our eyes this would be an Russian Imperial stout with at least a 10% ABV with some nice tones of chocolat and coffee, and a nice lasting hint of habanero or ghost reaper chilli's.
